Calling all young creators! The Cartoon Art Museum is excited to host two free, 90-minute anime workshops with comics artist and Anime Your Way founder Carlos Nieto III. Anime Your Way is a comprehensive step by step drawing program that teaches how to create and modify an anime character from scratch, regardless of drawing experience. Using simple shapes and easy to understand instructions, participants will gain the knowledge to create their very own unique anime characters. All materials are provided.
So come join Carlos on Saturday, April 6, 2024, (Kids 6 to 13: 1pm to 2:30pm, Teens 14+ to Adult: 3pm to 4:30pm) for a lively time. Both workshops are free but advance registration is required.
* Advance registrations will be released 15 minutes before the workshop for waitlist and last minute attendees.
About Carlos Nieto III
Carlos Nieto III is a Southern California-based arts instructor and founder of Anime Your Way A former layout artist for The Simpsons and King of the Hill, in addition to working for several international publishers and illustration companies from around the world, creating more than 20 comic book issues and more than 25 covers. Carlos now presents his anime drawing program at schools and libraries throughout the United States.
