Young Picassos: Painting Masterpieces - DIY Canvas Art (All ages - babies and up)
Join Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation for a magical day of creativity and imagination at our "Young Picassos: Painting Masterpieces" event! Designed exclusively for children of all ages (babies and up), this engaging and colorful gathering celebrates the joy of artistic expression and encourages young minds to unleash their inner artists.
We will provide you with a 16x20 blank canvas and we will have an assortment of child safe, non-toxic paint colors for you to choose from to dip your child's hands and/or feet into. There will be several painter drop cloths scattered through out the grassy area to allow for enough room for people with their children to paint their one of a kind master pieces. There will also be kiddie pools set up to allow you to wash your child's hands & feet afterwards. This is sure to be a fun event as always! Parents the canvas art that your little one will create will be something that you can hang on your wall for a lifetime. Every canvas created actually looks like and is a masterpiece. You don't have to worry about packing it up in a box in a garage because you feel guilty as a parent throwing it out. This is something that you will be able to happily hang on your wall for YEARS and your friends will ask where you got it. You can proudly say your little one(s). *This is a paid event. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time.
We advise you to pre-purchase your tickets to ensure you have a spot since we will only have a limited amount of canvases. You can arrive anytime from the hours of 11:00am - 1:00pm. We ask that the latest you arrive is 12:30pm, as the event ends at 1:00pm and we wouldn't want you to rush your little artist at work. We will be holding this fundraising event outside in the grassy area in Humboldt Park by little Cubs field right by the socceer field. Can't make it?
