Join us for our 2022 Summer Camp season! Please read the important information regarding registration, in it's entirety, before signing up.
SIGN UP INFORMATION - please read!
You will be sent a Registration Confirmation to your email immediately after you register. Keep the confirmation in your records, because it is your only receipt (important for income tax time!). KWHS cannot produce receipts for online purchases.
If you have not been sent a registration confirmation and payment receipt via e-mail, the registration did not go through. Please ensure you've completed the registration in it's entirety, and clicked "confirm payment". A screenshot of the invoice will not do; you must have the proof of payment via paypal (e-mailed to you) to participate in camp.
COVID 19 CONSIDERATIONS:
Although we are easing restrictions as a province, COVID 19 still exists and is still a public health concern. The Humane Society will continue to follow all public health recommendations for summer camp.
By signing your child up for summer camp, you agree to follow all of the regulations we set for the health and safety of our campers.
These regulations will depend on the public health situation at the time. These may include, but are not limited to,
A full and official list of regulations will be sent to you prior to your week at camp. There will be no exceptions to these regulations, and refunds will not be given should the camper be asked to return home for not following health and safety procedures.
Before signing up, please ensure that your camper meets the following eligibility criteria, to ensure a successful camp experience.
Participants must be able to:
- Function very well in a 1:10 staff to camper ratio.
Campers must be able to keep themselves physically and emotionally safe, which means treating themselves, and others, with respect, abstaining from bullying, harassment, violence or general unruliness or unwillingness to listen. With COVID 19 social distancing, it's extra important that our campers keep their hands to themselves, and know how to respect the space of their peers.
As a small camp, we do not have the ability to dedicate the attention of a single staff member to an individual camper for the week. If a camper requires supervision because of behaviour or other concerns, our ability to properly care for other campers becomes compromised.
Should your camper require additional supervision (if they have additional support at school), professional personal support workers are welcome. Please reach out to Kathleen before registering at 519-745-5615 x233
No refunds will be given should a camper be required to be picked up due to behaviour or other concerns.
