For 8-14 year olds. A day of fun in the woods, building shelters, cooking on an open fire, making charcoal. In association with Steyning Grammar School Forest Schools.
PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to book for more than one child, please buy each ticket separately because we need to collect health and safety information specific to each child as part of the booking process.
What to Bring
Please wear clothes you can get dirty in, with long trousers (no shorts) and bring waterproofs if the forecast is wet. Wear stout footwear (no open sandals). Please also bring your packed lunch and water to drink.
Arriving
We’ll be meeting at the SDS Gateway building, on the grassy bank behind Mouse Cottage on Mouse Lane at 10.00am (postcode: BN44 3LX). This is about 100 yards up Mouse Lane, on the left.
Please don’t try to park in Mouse Lane – it’s not suitable for lots of cars arriving at once. If you need to come by car, please park in on eof the Steyning town centre car parks and walk from there.
Leaving
We will be back at the Gateway at 3.30pm. Please arrange for prompt collection of your child at this time.
