No experience is necessary and all materials are provided. Free same-day admission to galleries is also included for workshop participants to explore our exhibitions!

Kids and their Grownups collaborate to imagine and illustrate their very own book of monstrous beasts! Learn how to translate details from real and mythical creatures into your own fluffy, feathery and slimy fantastic monsters.

The world is filled with wacky and wild faces and expressions. Have some family fun as kids and their grownup/s play games and collaborate on activities while learning all the things that make our own faces so very special.
Online reservations must be made by 5pm the day before the workshop. If you have made a reservation and you will not make it, please call 415-CARTOON (227-8666) x303 or email education@cartoonart.org to cancel as soon as possible. (See cancellation policy below.) Walk in registrations are available at the museum front desk as long as workshops have not reached attendance capacity.
Please arrive between 11:00-11:29 am to sign in for your workshop. No one will be able to be admitted into the workshop after it begins.
If your child has a special need or needs please inform us along with your RSVP so that we can better serve your child.
All registrations include free admission to the museum galleries for participants on the same day of the workshop. Friends and family members not participating will need to pay separate admission.

Cancellation: All participants must be pre-paid prior to the workshop. Full refunds are given for cancellation notices received by Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 5pm Pacific Time. No refunds given for notice after that date and time, including on the day of the workshop.
