Do you believe in Makom and our vision of a grassroots, downtown Jewish community fusing Jewish tradition and progressive values through spirituality, learning and art?
Do you value a diverse, inclusive community that leaves labels aside and comes together to explore how Judaism can meaningfully enrich our lives?
Do you participate in Makom’s Shabbat or holiday services, adult ed classes, Makom Afterschool, Makom ATID, Makom Families programs, meditation or cultural events?
Then Makom is already your Jewish community and you should be counted as a member!
Makom membership is about seeing yourself as part of our growing and thriving community, giving to it and receiving from it.
Makom does not have set membership dues. Instead, we ask you to make a commitment to your community in three crucial ways; the amount of each is up to you:
Our goal is to sign up 200 committed members and raise $72,000 for 2018-2019.
We therefore suggest a tax-deductible contribution of $360 per adult and $36 per child/teen. (Donations may be given upfront or spread over 12 months.) However, feel free to give more or less, depending on what’s a meaningful and affordable amount for you. Any amount that you’re able to contribute will be appreciated and will affirm your membership.
So if you believe in, value, and participate in Makom, please fill out your membership form on this site and make your contribution now.
What Makom gives you:
By becoming a member, you’ll help Makom become more sustainable and ensure that we can continue to offer the services and programs that make us your unique community.
