Holiday Parent & Child Classes

The Cartoon Art Museum is happy to offer cartooning classes that children and parents can enjoy together. All classes include materials and admission to the museum.
Parent+Child classes let kids and adults come together for a fun, fast paced cartooning class that emphasizes collaboration and experimentation.
Where: Cartoon Art Museum – 655 Mission St, San Francisco CA
Times: 11:30am to 1pm or 2pm to 3:30pm
Cost: $10* per person no matter what age
Age: For kids ages 7 to 12 and their responsible parent or guardian (18+). Please no more then 2 kids per adult!
Sorry, Adults must have a child with them to attend.
Parent+Child CLASS: Draw the Box Trolls
Date: Friday December 26, 11:30am to 1pm
Inspired by our Art of the Box Trolls exhibit, come and learn to draw the animated stars of the delightful film. Parents and Kids will work together to draw these mysterious and funny creatures and then have a chance to design their own.
Parent+Child CLASS: Clip-Art Comics
Date: Friday December 26, 2pm to 3:30pm
We'll get out our glue stick and scissors to make comic strips with wacky clip art. Kids and their Adults will learn the concepts behind telling a short joke or story then how to use pre existing art to bring it to life. No drawing skills required!
* Cancellations must be made one week in advance to receive a full refund, or two days in advance by 5pm before the class takes place to receive 50% refund. No refunds will be given after due to the limited number of spaces available.
