Chessfest is a day of incredible chess fun for kids and adults of all ages and skill levels.
Plenty of free activities alongside a simultaneous exhibition, a blindfold demonstration, and the 2014 Toronto Blitz Chess Championship. These three events (marked *) are fundraisers to help support our Canadian men’s and women’s teams at the 2014 Chess Olympiad in Tromsø, Norway.

- Play the Grandmaster* (FREE to watch; $25 registration to start; $20 buy-in on site as boards open up)

- FREE Learn to play chess
- FREE Learn about the history of Canadian Chess Olympiad teams
- FREE Play a game on a giant chess set
- FREE Sit down with a friend to play chess at one of our open tables
