Irish Language Weekend Workshop

November 9 - November 11, 2012
Pythian Hall, Aurora Oregon
Aurora, Oregon
Registration Closed

Language Hunters will be hosting an Irish Language Immersion Workshop as a fundraiser for our organization the weekend of November 9th through 11th in the Portland, OR area. During the workshop, Irish Gaelic will be taught through an innovative language learning technique called "language hunting". This is an immersion, game-like setting based on the idea that learning a language should be fun.

The weekend will feature fluent speaker Brían Ó hAirt and other guests and will involve a maximum amount of spoken Irish Gaelic and a minimum of English.

The event will start at 6:00pm on Nov. 9th and will continue through out the weekend, running from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Sliding scale $50-$100, come for the whole weekend or drop in. As this is a fundraiser, we greatly appreciate all levels of generosity. TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BY MIDNIGHT ON WED. NOVEMBER 7TH.

Irish Gaelic learners of all levels and abilities are welcome.
